Marketing and Privacy Counsel

In a newly created role within our growing Legal Team, FabFitFun is seeking a Marketing and Privacy Counsel for our Los Angeles HQ. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated attorney looking to make an impact and support the business strategies at a hyper-growth company. This role will be responsible for legal advice in the areas of (1) advertising, marketing, promotions and contests (2) e-commerce consumer compliance, (3) privacy, and (4) data security.

Your Future:

Provide legal counsel to a wide range of groups across FabFitFun that touch on advertising, marketing, consumer privacy and data security

Provide legal counsel for business teams responsible for all brand communications, advertising and marketing materials including, but not limited to digital/social media campaigns and content, television and print advertising

Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the company's SOPs, form agreements and compliance programs relating to marketing, promotions and advertising, including testimonials and endorsements and claim substantiation

Assist with ensuring that the company’s terms of use, privacy and related terms and policies reflect best practices and are at all times consistent with the company’s values and operations

Work with Assistant General Counsel and business teams on Company’s privacy and data security programs and policies

Provide client education and training on relevant legal issues

Work hard addressing the various legal affairs of a growing company, but also have a great time with a wonderful and dynamic group of people

Your Past:

5-7 years of relevant experience within a major law firm and/or significant in-house experience providing legal advice regarding advertising, marketing, promotions, privacy and data security

Experience in-house with a consumer-facing e-commerce company a plus

Smart, personable, pragmatic and diligent

Comfortable with and capable of keeping pace in a dynamic growth environment

Ability to adapt and adjust to business needs, but also knows where and when not to compromise
