Apple seeks a Real Estate Attorney to join Apple's Real Estate Law organization and report to Apple’s Manager, Real Estate Law.

Key Qualifications

5 to 8 years of relevant experience

Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills

Ability to drive transactions

Ability to focus and cut through complexity to distill the most important issues

Ability to make and own hard calls

Ability to see both forest and trees

Comfort with ambiguity

Comfort with playing a supporting role

Strong leadership skills

Strong individual contributor who thrives in a team environment

Experience with international transactions and renewable energy transactions preferred


The attorney’s duties and responsibilities include:

(i) negotiating and drafting office and retail leases, purchase and sale agreements, design, construction, consulting, procurement and other agreements, for a variety of real estate projects and services, both in the United States and abroad

(ii) working with outside counsel and Apple’s internal retail, facilities, finance, procurement, corporate, energy, mergers and acquisition, hardware, litigation and tax departments in connection with real estate-related transactions and issues

(iii) advising Apple in connection with land use, governmental approvals and permits, litigation related to Apple’s facilities, real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions and a variety of other real estate-related matters. The job involves on-the-ground legal work as well as participation in strategic discussions on how to best satisfy Apple’s business requirements.
