Excellent opportunity for junior attorneys looking to go in house! Our client, a public energy company based in The Woodlands, is hiring an attorney to provide legal support and take an active role in coordination of various teams.

Primary duties involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts relating to procurement of goods and services, LNG and natural gas sales, vessel chartering, and regasification services. The employee will help monitor contractual obligations and oversee any disputes arising under contract.

Ideal candidates:

• 3+ years practicing as an attorney at a law firm or at a company, with specialization in transactional work and contract review
• Graduate of highly ranked US law school or English law school (Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent).
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
• Able to work in The Woodlands, Texas 4-5 days/week
