Senior Discovery Counsel - Matter Support

As a part of our Discovery team, you’ll help provide legal support for all our products and businesses. Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means you’ll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law.
We are looking for a discovery counsel with great judgment and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to drive complex discovery strategy and lead programmatic solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has significant experience in discovery management, litigation and operational execution. This role requires a lawyer with highly efficient operational skills, risk management experience and the ability to strategically manage discovery end to end.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of in-house, law firm or vendor discovery experience, including significant experience leading complex discovery management in litigations and investigations.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Strong technology interest and aptitude.
Excellent operational, communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Meaningful in-house or equivalent experience and experience managing discovery in litigation and regulatory investigations in a corporate setting.
Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams
Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, while exploring new areas of expertise as business needs change
Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner
Interest in and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and take ownership of projects while balancing time, quality, cost, and risk
Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others
Maintain high ethical standards both personally and professionally; shows integrity and fairness in dealings with others; is reliable and trustworthy
Demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information
