This is a senior leadership role for someone who can think strategically and also roll up their sleeves to get things done. Operating Model and Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a regional workplan aligned to the global Legal Ops strategy and the priorities of Safelite’s EVP, General Counsel

  • Analyze legal work types, volume, risk levels, and skill requirements to identify the optimal mix of insourcing, outsourcing, and self-service, and design appropriate protocols

  • Assess emerging technology and AI capabilities relevant to the legal function; develop recommendations and escalate priorities to the VP, Global Head

  • Automate repetitive or time-consuming manual processes to free legal capacity for higher-value work

Financial Management and Outside Counsel

  • Oversee Safelite legal spend management including outside counsel fees, alternative legal service providers, and technology costs; provide analysis and recommendations on spend trends and alternative fee arrangements

  • Collect and report on key financial metrics and KPIs to evaluate legal spend performance and drive continuous improvement

Reporting, Data, Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain regional Legal Ops dashboards and KPI reporting, feeding data into the global framework on the agreed rhythm and to specification

  • Ensure data integrity across regional legal technology platforms; proactively identify and resolve data quality issues

  • Develop and maintain an effective knowledge management program: standardized templates, naming conventions, process documentation, and knowledge repositories that make the global team’s expertise accessible and reusable

  • Uphold global Legal Ops framework guardrails

  • Manage training, team onboarding, and professional development initiatives for the regional legal team

  • Develop and maintain effective internal communications, ensuring the legal team is informed, engaged, and equipped to make the most of available tools and processes
