JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Summary

As the Business Process Lead for Risk, Compliance, Regulatory, Legal, and Client Engagement Systems within GTech Enterprise Systems, this role is accountable for delivering enterprise-grade technical solutions aligned to the global needs of the Risk, Compliance, Regulatory, and Legal Affairs organization, including end-to-end Client Engagement processes.

The role provides technical ownership and technical support of existing Risk and Legal platforms and associated client engagement processes, ensuring business requirements from Product Owners and Business Process SMEs are translated into well-architected, standards-based solutions. You will lead technology teams and system integrators across design, development, configuration, integration, and testing within these domains.

Operating within the GTech operating model, this role owns technology delivery execution while partnering closely with the business on roadmap alignment, value realization, and solution adoption, and is accountable for delivering against approved business roadmap commitments.


Your day‑to‑day may include

  • Leading the end‑to‑end technical delivery of platforms supporting Risk, Compliance, Regulatory, and Legal Affairs, including independence, ethics, regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, legal matter management, and governance workflows.
  • Leading the end‑to‑end technical delivery of our global client engagement workflows.
  • Owning solution architecture and technical design, ensuring alignment with global business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Directing design, development, configuration, and testing of solutions across global landscape.
  • Translating business requirements, acceptance criteria, and non‑functional requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.
  • Leading and coordinating technical delivery teams, including platform engineers, integration developers, data specialists, QA/testing teams, and external system integrators.
  • Ensuring adherence to GTech SDLC standards, including requirements traceability, design reviews, testing strategies, release management, and stage‑gate governance.
  • Managing platform releases and enhancements, including impact analysis, regression testing coordination, and production deployment.
  • Overseeing technical vendor and system integrator performance, ensuring delivery quality, adherence to standards, and alignment to agreed outcomes.
  • Ensuring all solutions comply with security, privacy, risk, and regulatory obligations, including SOX, data retention, auditability, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure end‑to‑end system harmony and data integrity.
  • Supporting go‑live planning, cutover execution, and post‑go‑live hyper care.
  • Acting as a technical advisor to GTech and Risk/Legal and Client Engagement leadership on platform capabilities, constraints, and modernization opportunities.

You have the following technical skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience delivering enterprise applications supporting Risk, Compliance, Regulatory, and/or Legal functions and Experience in the Client Engagement process
  • Proven experience leading complete lifecycle system implementations, including design, build, test, and deployment.
  • Strong hands‑on and leadership experience across applications commonly used in Risk and Legal organizations, such as:
    • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms
    • Regulatory and compliance tracking systems
    • Legal matter and contract lifecycle management solutions
    • Independence, ethics, and conflicts management systems
    • Document management and records retention platforms
  • Experience with systems integration, including API‑based integrations, workflow orchestration, and data synchronization across enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of security models, access controls, audit logging, and data privacy concepts critical to enterprise systems domains.
  • Experience managing enterprise release cycles, regression testing, and controlled production deployments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary technical teams across geographies.
  • Experience managing system integrators and technology vendors, including performance management and delivery governance.
  • Expert understanding of SDLC execution, testing methodologies, and release management.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated enterprise environment and Big 4 professional services space required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Experience with OneTrust, Protecht, RadarFirst and other Risk platforms is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business‑relevant outcomes.
  • Ability to influence across organizational boundaries and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

The base salary range for this position is between $202,500 and $337,500. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
