  • Performs administrative duties and plans and coordinates management functions for Office of General Counsel.

  • Coordinates freedom of Information act requests, subpoenas, release of information, and requests for production by logging requests, searching for and retrieving responsive records, completing redactions, securing input from and managing all due dates/deadlines for timely response.

  • Provides administrative support to the Office of General Counsel by performing a variety of clerical, administrative and office management duties.

  • Coordinates communication with requestors and tracks all deadlines to ensure timely responses in compliance with applicable laws.

  • Resume preferred, but not required.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.


SCDC Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services.

OR

  • A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

Preferred requirements: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
