As Corporate Counsel, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to our global Seed Technologies business and North American Crop Protection platform. Reporting to the General Counsel, Seed Technologies, you'll provide practical, business-focused legal support across a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory, and governance matters.

How You'll Help Us Grow
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including confidentiality, consulting, purchase, and sales contracts
- Partner with business leaders to provide practical legal guidance on commercial transactions and operational matters
- Support corporate governance activities, including corporate resolutions, consents, minutes, delegations, and entity management
- Assist with litigation management, claims support, and coordination with external counsel
- Provide legal support on labor and employment matters and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Support business transactions, including due diligence activities and strategic corporate projects
- Manage legal records, contract databases, and corporate documentation
- Monitor and support outside counsel relationships and legal spend management
- Contribute to insurance and enterprise risk management activities
- Conduct legal research and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Regulatory, Stewardship, and Operations
What Makes You Successful in This Role
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 3+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, business, or transactional law
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice and risk-balanced solutions
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and legal risk management principles
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a practical and business-focused manner
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
Compensation & Benefits
Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 USD per year.
Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
