As a Staff Attorney on the Legal team, a typical day for you will include:
- Perform legal matters as designated by your supervising attorney to support the brands, departments, and corporate locations of Neighborly.
- Gain the legal experience, knowledge, and expertise to support Neighborly on a day-to-day basis, in various areas of the law to include, but not limited to franchise law, intellectual property law, contract law, employment law, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and so much more.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and licensing arrangements.
- Support corporate governance activities, including entity formation, maintenance, and dissolution, preparation of resolutions, minutes, and governance documentation.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and communicate implications to stakeholders.

Experience:
- Open to new graduates. This position is designed for a recent law school graduate looking to gain experience and grow with the company.

Education:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required.

- Hybrid working model
- This position will be based out of our Waco, Texas office
