Senior Counsel (first in-house counsel)
Evers Legal has been exclusively retained by Central Power Systems & Services (“CPower”) to recruit its first in-house counsel. The title of Senior Counsel is aligned with the role, focused on daily legal work. Nonetheless, this position does report into the executive suite and offers a long-term opportunity for growth and, eventually, a possible General Counsel title if the role expands to include managerial responsibility.
CPower is a fast growing, profitable company with a significant Data Center footprint as a manufacturer of back-up energy equipment. In addition to being an OEM of mobile generators, CPower is a leading distributor of power solutions and heavy machinery.
This position is on-site at the company’s beautiful expansive new headquarters and manufacturing location in Platte City, Missouri, about a half hour northwest of Kansas City. Relocation is available for non-local candidates.
We seek 5+ years of legal practice experience, ideally with a commercial transactions focus. But the most important qualification will be culture fit: entrepreneurial, positive, and client service focused. The day-to-day work will include commercial contracts, supply chain, dealership relations, and some real estate. The more you can and want to do, the stronger you are as a candidate.
