As Regulatory Counsel, Content and Consumer Protection, you will join a global team that provides subject matter expertise and engages with regulators, academics, and others to consider the role of Content, Consumer Protection and AI law in the changing economy, the development of new technology such as Artificial Intelligence, and passage of new laws and regulations. You will be interpreting laws, regulatory engagement, advising product areas on new regulatory requirements, partnering with a variety of internal stakeholders across the company to advise on compliance solutions and mitigate risk, and helping communicate our compliance externally.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $252000 - $352000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Interpret laws and other compliance obligations into requirements for Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.
  • Manage government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts.
