Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
Compensation: $165,000 - $200,000 per year
About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a Legal AI Adoption Counsel to drive the responsible, practical use of generative AI across the firm's practices within the Client & Innovation function, working closely with attorneys, practice leaders, IT, professional development, training, research, marketing, and business development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive adoption of firm-approved generative AI platforms across multiple practice groups
- Partner with attorneys and business leaders to identify practical AI use cases
- Develop implementation strategies that increase adoption and improve legal workflows
- Support AI pilot programs and help scale successful initiatives across the firm
- Design and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions
- Coach attorneys and legal professionals on integrating AI into their daily work
- Create practical learning materials including playbooks, best practice guides, checklists, FAQs, and workflow documentation
- Evaluate new legal AI technologies and vendor solutions
- Promote responsible and ethical AI use throughout the firm
- Monitor adoption metrics, user feedback, and business impact
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Hands-on experience using legal generative AI tools
- Experience in Legal Innovation, Knowledge Management, Legal Operations, Practice Management, or Legal Technology
Preferred:
- Experience practicing law within a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience designing training programs for legal professionals
- Familiarity with change management methodologies
- Strong project management and organizational skills
