Corporate Counsel, North America Stores Legal

⁠​‌‌​​​‌​​​‌‌‌​‌​​​‌‌‌​​​​‌​​‌​‌‌​​‌‌‌​​‌⁠Amazon is looking for a talented attorney to support our online store business. You will work directly with your business partners, serving as their primary legal advisor on a broad range and variety of matters.



Key job responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day legal support to business teams and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways.
- Helping your business teams launch new features and product categories.
- Serving as lead counsel in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Resolving issues arising in existing commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
