Compliance Counsel / Life Sciences

Our client, a Boston-based commercial biopharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Compliance & Regulatory Counsel to serve as its Chief Compliance Officer, reporting directly to the General Counsel. This leadership role will provide strategic legal and regulatory guidance across commercial and pipeline products, with a focus on FDA regulations, the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Sunshine Act, promotional review, and healthcare compliance. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to support compliant business initiatives, oversee the company's compliance and ethics program, develop policies and training, manage transparency reporting, review commercial and promotional materials, and advise on a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.

The ideal candidate will hold a J.D. and active U.S. bar membership, with at least seven years of pharmaceutical legal and compliance experience supporting commercial products. Candidates should bring deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare laws and regulations, experience advising senior leadership and cross-functional teams, strong contract review and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build and lead effective compliance programs. Experience with Market Access, global healthcare compliance, and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives is highly preferred.
