Contract Attorney

QC Franchise Group is seeking a highly skilled remote Contract Attorney to spend their full-time efforts for 6 contiguous months, using their extensive experience in transactional law, project management and drafting amendments to existing franchise agreements. Our emphasis will be on seamless production of results while working with the existing in-house attorney’s and franchise paralegal. The ideal candidate would have in-house franchise experience or have experience relating to the franchisor/franchisee relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

Transactional Law:

· Draft, review, and negotiate a narrow range of time sensitive franchise amendments and assist with a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and confidentiality agreements

Project Management:

· Oversee and manage legal projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals

· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution

Drafting: 

· Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision and attention to detail resulting on properly executed agreements

· Ensure all drafted documents are compliant with legal standards and company policies

 Qualifications:

· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

· Active license to practice law in any state

· Minimum of [2] years of experience in transactional law, project management, drafting, agreements

· Strong understanding of commercial contracts and transactional law

· Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm

· Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus

· Familiarity with the implementation of AI to achieve results

· Strong skills in Microsoft Word

Working Conditions:

· 100% Remote

· Six-month contract
