Director - Original Content Legal and & Studio Affairs
Apple’s Original Content Legal & Studio Affairs team seeks an exceptional attorney to take a leadership role on its team, which supports Apple’s original video content efforts worldwide.
The Original Content Legal & Studio Affairs team is responsible for the full range of legal work for the acquisition, production, and distribution of television and movies. The successful candidate will be a diligent and dedicated counselor who can give concise, practical legal advice under tight deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
10-15 years relevant experience.
Portfolio management and strategy of content related assets.
Extensive knowledge of global streaming productions across different types of programming.
Established, strong relationships within the entertainment industry.
Experience with productions for emerging technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with Litigation and Business Affairs to resolve content and production related disputes.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Preferred Qualifications
A mix of law firm and in-house legal experience managing teams across a variety of studio/network legal issues.
Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $300,700 and $480,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
