Associate Corporate Counsel

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Corporate Counsel to join our in-house legal team in Delaware. This attorney will serve as a legal generalist, providing practical, business-focused guidance across a broad range of matters, with a primary focus on advertising and marketing, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, privacy, and commercial contracts.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and solutions-oriented attorney who can balance strong legal analysis with sound business judgment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with teams throughout the organization and play a meaningful role in supporting the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including consulting, marketing, services, confidentiality, manufacturing, and supply agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on advertising, marketing materials, promotional activities, and social media content.
  • Advise on privacy, data protection, and information security matters.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and updating corporate compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements affecting the business.
  • Support litigation matters, including coordination with and oversight of outside counsel.
  • Assist with intellectual property matters, including enforcement and protection of company intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with business teams and other members of the legal department to identify and address legal and compliance risks.
  • Interface with and manage relationships with outside counsel as needed.
  • Perform other legal and departmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar of at least one U.S. state and the ability to obtain a Delaware Certificate of Limited Practice, if not already admitted to practice in Delaware.
  • 2–4 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience in an in-house legal department strongly preferred.
  • Experience with contracts, advertising and marketing, intellectual property, data privacy, and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of matters and achieve results.
