About the Team
TikTok is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Contract Operations to lead the evolution of its global contract operations capabilities.

Reporting into the Head of Global Legal Operations (GLO), the role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the contract lifecycle, partnering closely with Legal, Sales, Finance, Procurement, IT and other business stakeholders.

The Senior Manager will help establish a scalable, technology-enabled contracting operating model, leveraging process optimization, data, automation and emerging AI capabilities to improve the speed, efficiency, visibility and quality of contracting across TikTok.

The ideal candidate combines deep contract operations expertise with strong business-process, technology and transformation experience and is comfortable operating at both the strategic and execution levels.

What You'll Do

Lead Contract Operations Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategy for scaling contract operations globally, working closely with legal and business partners
- Establish standardized, efficient and scalable contracting processes across business and legal teams.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve the end-to-end contracting lifecycle.

Drive Contracting Process Transformation
- Analyze existing contracting workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Design and implement improved intake, routing, review, approval, execution and post-signature processes.
- Reduce manual work, cycle times and operational friction while improving visibility and control.
- Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives from requirements through implementation and adoption.

Drive Contracting Technology & CLM
- Define and execute the roadmap for contract lifecycle management and related contracting technologies.
- Evaluate, implement and optimize CLM, workflow automation and emerging contract technologies.
- Partner with IT, Engineering and business systems teams on integrations and system architecture.

Build Contract Data & Reporting Capabilities
- Establish a robust contract data strategy and underlying data model.
- Improve the quality, structure and accessibility of contract data.
- Partner with legal, business and IT teams to develop a connected data framework for AI enabled contracts intelligence and workflows
- Turn contract data into actionable business and legal insights.

Drive AI & Automation in Contracting
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to apply AI and automation across the contracting lifecycle.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies for contract review, extraction, search, classification, risk identification and contract intelligence.
- Partner with Legal and business stakeholders to establish practical use cases and measurable ROI.
- Lead pilots through vendor evaluation, implementation, adoption and ongoing optimization.

Partner Across the Enterprise
- Serve as a strategic partner to Legal, Sales, Finance, Procurement, IT, Engineering and other business functions.
- Translate business and legal requirements into scalable operational and technology solutions.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization.

Lead Change Management & Adoption
- Develop and execute change-management strategies for new processes, technologies and AI capabilities.
- Drive stakeholder adoption through communication, training and feedback mechanisms.
- Establish success metrics and demonstrate measurable business impact.
- Continuously refine processes based on user feedback and performance data.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Significant experience in contract operations, legal operations, commercial operations, sales operations or business/process transformation.
- Significant experience managing or transforming contract lifecycle processes.
- Experience implementing or scaling CLM and other contracting technologies.
- Experience with contract data architecture, analytics and reporting
- Experience applying AI/GenAI to legal or contracting workflows.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracting processes and workflows.
- Experience with enterprise systems, integrations and data and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a global technology company or high-growth environment.
- Experience with commercial and sales contracting.
- Experience managing global or distributed teams.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $144000 - $270000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
