Assistant General Counsel reporting to General Counsel

NPD is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join the Corporate Legal team. You will be part of a collaborative group that works across all functions and levels in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, privately held company.

Responsibilities:

Support M&A transactions, investments and strategic alliances, including drafting, negotiation and due diligence.

Work closely with sales, client development and other teams to review, negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements, such as customer agreements with Fortune 500 companies, intellectual property licenses, vendor contracts and commercial leases.

Advice and work in other areas as assigned by the General Counsel.

Qualifications:

4+ years of relevant legal experience



Substantive M&A experience



In-house background would be beneficial



IP-related experience a strong plus



J.D. and New York Bar admission in good standing
