Senior Corporate Counsel

One Concern is growing rapidly and we are looking for a passionate, mission-driven Senior Corporate Counsel to join our team.  You’ll play a critical role in upgrading One Concern’s legal operations and report directly to our CEO. 

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts to support our global business activities 
• Build, implement and continuously improve internal legal processes, standard form agreements and policies
• Advise executive team regarding compliance with all laws, regulations, and rules by identifying options, risks, and solutions
• Resolve issues that arise in commercial relationships, such as handling pre-litigation disputes, inquiries, and advice 
• Monitor and research applicable legislative and regulatory developments and translate those findings into practical advice to proactively anticipate and resolve legal and other compliance issues
• Provide advice and counsel on employee and advisor equity grants 

Qualifications & Experience

• J.D. Degree and active membership in at least one state bar
• 6+ years experience in a law firm and/or as in-house counsel
• 1+ years of experience as in-house counsel at a technology company 
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements 
• Familiarity with key regulatory requirements in the SaaS space

Nice to Haves

• Licensed to practice law in California
• Employment litigation experience
• Experience as in-house counsel at a SaaS startup

Compensation will be competitive with the market for this position and will include equity consideration.
