Senior Corporate Counsel

Position Summary:

Focus will be on renewable energy investments, advising our

wholesale energy business and our retail marketing business.

Ideal candidate is a qualified Attorney-at-law that has experience in:

Energy transactions

M&A

Financing transactions

Development and construction of energy projects

Working with senior attorneys to advise a team of highly qualified

business professionals.

Full time – Telecommuting will be highly considered.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor Degree.

Admitted to New Jersey State Bar, or other state bar

association.

Hold experience within private practice on transactions,

M&A, financing transactions or similar capital

market experience.

Preferably with exposure to the renewable energy industry

or energy/utilities industry

Between 5-8 years of legal practice experience.

Ability to review, draft and negotiate transaction contracts.

Ability to analyze complex challenges and develop appropriate solutions that are not explicitly legal focused but also commercial and strategic.

Collaborating with your colleagues and providing support to your peers on joint efforts and projects.

Further to the required legal experience, the ideal employee should be highly motivated and aspire to be integral to the further growth and success of the renewable energy practice.

Flexible style and ability to both independently as well as in teams.
