Assistant General Counsel

Our client, a global asset manager with $95B AUM, seeks an attorney with 5-7+ years of experience for its market-leading structured capital/private credit business. This role supports its senior secured direct lending and structured capital investment platforms with a significant focus on private credit transactional support. Experience in finance and lending transactions required; restructuring/bankruptcy expertise or prior fund formation and separately managed account experience a plus. Stellar credentials and top firm experience are a must. Responsibilities are broad and include: advising investment professionals on deal structuring and transaction terms; managing documentation relating to lending activities, including term sheets, commitment letters, assignment agreements and amendments to principal transaction documents; regulatory advisory support; and overseeing outside counsel.
